Elisabeth is originally from Pennsylvania but came to Nashville, Tennessee to begin her undergraduate education for pre-med at Trevecca Nazarene University. Elisabeth then completed her Masters of Medical Science at Nova Southeastern University. It was there she obtained her Physician Assistants degree with highest honors and upon graduation was inducted into the prestigious academic society for academic leadership, Nu Sigma Upsilon chapter of the Alpha Eta Society.

Elisabeth Smith has extensive experience in the field of aesthetic procedures and skin care. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

She has specialized training in Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, and non-surgical procedures, however her passion lies with non-surgical injectable procedures (Botox and Fillers), chemical peels, and medical grade skin care. After intensive study of facial anatomy and the art of aging, she has applied this knowledge to perfecting the technique of facial rejuvenation which highlights your own natural beauty.

She has trained various nurses and physicians on advanced injection techniques, and has also had the privilege to learn from international Physicians, keeping her technique at the cutting edge of facial evaluation and treatment.

KAT CAMPBELL, RN, BSN

Kat is a native Nashvillian who graduated from nursing school from TCU and starting working in the ER. She loved patient care and advancing her medical knowledge during that time!

She initially met Elisabeth as a patient years ago as she always had an interest in skin. Her love of all things skin and injectables didn’t stop there, and it was clear this was a path she wanted to pursue! She has since then attended various trainings, conferences, and has been mentored and trained by Elisabeth.

She is experienced in skincare analysis with medical grade skincare, Botox, microneedling, dermaplaning and chemical peels. 

Fernanda is a Licensed Medical Aesthetician. She brings 19 years of medical aesthetic experience from Orange County, CA, where she worked hand-in-hand with doctors and surgeons to transform skin. Her client roster includes everyone from celebrities to hard-working mamas, and everyone in between.

Fernanda is certified in HydraFacial MD, Diamond Glow Facial, Advanced peels, Cryotherapy, Oxygen Therapy, Microneedling, RF Microneedling, DMK Skin Revisions, Face Reality Acne Systems, and more.

In her downtime, she enjoys working out, playing with her dogs, and traveling with her husband and two teenagers.

Fernanda Heckman, Medical Aesthetician

Haleigh Kelley, FNP-BC

Haleigh completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas and her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Maryville University. She began her medical career working in the neonatal ICU at Vanderbilt. While continuing to work in the ICU, Haleigh completed her FNP receiving her Masters of Science in Nursing.

During nurse practitioner school, Haleigh trained at Indie RX learning skincare, Botox, chemical peels, and dermal fillers. Her love for all things skin led her to begin working at Indie over 3 years ago! She continues her education by taking dermatology courses, anatomy and cadaver courses, incredible trainings from experts around the country, attending aesthetic conferences, and has been mentored by Elisabeth. Haleigh excels at creating customized treatment plans for each individual patient while maintaining a natural approach.

Haleigh is certified in facial analysis, Botox, Filler, PRF, Sculptra, Kybella, RF Microneedling, Chemical Peels, and medical grade skin care.

Alexis was born and raised in Memphis, TN and graduated from the University of Memphis with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She then moved to Denver, CO in 2015, and began her career working in Plastic Surgery where she spent the last seven years helping patients look and feel their best.

She moved to Nashville, TN in November of 2021 and found her new home at Indie RX where she has continued her training under Elisabeth. She has always been passionate about the field of aesthetics and has extensive training and experience working with non-surgical procedures and injectables (Botox and Filler). She has an eye for facial balancing and optimization while using a conservative approach to achieve desired aesthetic outcome.

Alexis Bell, RN, BSN

Carlee Ellis, RN, BSN

Carlee was born and raised in Delmar, Delaware and attended the University of Mary Washington in Virginia where she played field hockey and graduated with a B.S. in Psychology. After graduation, she quickly realized her heart belonged in healthcare and went on to receive her B.S. in Nursing at Salisbury University in Maryland.

After graduating, she moved to Nashville with her high school sweetheart and worked in the CVICU at Vanderbilt for three and half years. She loved the adrenaline-filled, fast paced environment that the CVICU provided her. However, she always knew skincare was her passion!

Carlee found Indie and fell in love (at first as a patient!) with the team, the uplifting environment, and the natural approach it provides for patients. She has been an apprentice of Elisabeth, and has excelled in trainings ranging in Botox, filler, and microneedling. Her advanced knowledge in facial assessment providing natural results is why her patients have fallen in love with her.
